About Dr. Smit A. Desai

Dr. Smit A. Desai (Consultant Oral Cancer Surgeon, MDS (OMFS) is one of the best oncologists in India specializing in oral cancer. He is member of many renowned related organization such as AOMSI – Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, IAOO - International Association of Oral Oncology, IAOMS – International Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons, and FHNO – Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology.

Dr. Smit A. Desai completed BDS ((2007-2012) and MDS - Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery ((2013-2016) from College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre, Bopal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Moreover, he did fellowship in Oral Oncology (2017-2019) from first batch of AOMSI (Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons of India). He also did Travelling fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology in April 2018 from FHNO (Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology).

On the work front, Dr. Desai has worked as Surgical Registrar during 2016-2017 and Junior Consultant at Department of Head and Neck Oncology (Shankus Medicity - SMC, Mehsana). He has also several awards and accolades on his names. He has been awarded for best poster presentation at 6th world congress-2017 by IAOO (International Association of Oral Oncology), poster presentation by FHNO at IFHNOS-2018, and oral presentation by FHNO at IFHNOS- 2019.
